Dr. Denise Veelo

Denise Veelo is anesthesiologist and associate professor at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her research line (DYNAMO research group) focuses on investigating hemodynamic physiology, pulse wave derived machine learning models, and perioperative outcome optimization. One of the topics of interest is hypotension management in anesthesia and ICU. She runs several trials and is one of the leads on the currently running PRETREAT study, a large multi-center trial investigating whether a reduction in hypotension leads to an improvement in patient outcome.
