Drs. Relin van Vliet

Drs. Relin van Vliet (1995) is a PhD candidate at the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) department of the Amsterdam UMC, location AMC. She graduated (cum laude) as a medical doctor in 2020 at the Amsterdam UMC. After that, she worked as a medical doctor at the Internal Medicine department (flevoziekenhuis) and at the Intensive Care Unit (Amsterdam UMC). The main focus of her PhD-project is to investigate the worldwide practice of ventilation in critically ill pediatric patients and to study potentially modifiable ventilator settings and parameters that have associations with outcome, in order to improve lung-protective ventilation in the pediatric population.
