Dr. Jorinde Raasveld

Dr. Jorinde Raasveld (Amsterdam, 1993) words as a post-doctoral researcher and Anesthesiology resident in the Amsterdam UMC. She graduated cum laude as a medical doctor in the Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam. Jorinde defended her dissertation, entitled “Transfusion Practices in High-Risk Patients in the Intensive Care Unit” at the University of Amsterdam in 2023. Next, she continued her research focusing on Transfusion in the ICU as well as improving practices in patients supported with ECMO. Late 2026 she will expand her research agenda to the Hemodynamics group led by Prof. Veelo and Prof. Vlaar, strengthening the ties between the Department of Anesthesiology and the ICU.
