Drs. Pierette P.C.H. Oomes

Pierette Oomes (Breda, 1996) graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, including an Honours Programme in Critical Care. In 2024, she completed a Master's degree in Health Sciences with a specialisation in Health Policy. n 2025, she started her PhD trajectory at the ICU and Anaesthesiology departments of Amsterdam UMC, locations AMC and VUmc. Her research interests include haemodynamic profiles and monitoring, the role of nurses, and nurse-driven care.

Alongside her research, Pierette works as a nurse at the ICU of Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc, and serves as a Board Member of Young Amsterdam UMC, holding the portfolio of Relations.
