Prof. Dr. Pieter Roel Tuinman

Pieter Roel Tuinman, MD, PhD is Professor of Clinical Intensive Care Medicine, Principal Investigator in Intensive Care Medicine, and Head of the Intensive Care Medicine Training Program at Amsterdam UMC.

His research focuses on critical care ultrasound, mechanical ventilation, fluid therapy, and communication in intensive care medicine. He has extensive expertise in the design, coordination, and clinical execution of (multicenter) clinical trials.
